Charlotte County Red Dot Program
Emergency medical Program by the Charlotte County Fire & EMS, Charlotte County Sheriff's Department, Punta Gorda Fire/Police Departments and Englewood Area Fire Control District. Three area hospitals, Charlotte Regional Medical Center, Fawcett Memorial Hospital and Peace River Regional Medical Center provide funding for the Red Dot Medical Information Program and participate in this program.

National Hurricane Center - NOAA
The National Hurricane Center (NHC) is a component of the National Centers for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) located at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. The NHC mission is to save lives, mitigate property loss, and improve economic efficiency by issuing the best watches, warnings, forecasts and analyses of hazardous tropical weather, and by increasing understanding of these hazards.
